Happy Veterans Day From all of us at Keystone Branch 157

 

VETERANS DAY
It is important that each and every one of us set time aside to say “Thank You” and honor our service members and to remember the sacrifices they have made and the courage it takes to defend honor, duty, and country.We must also thank the family members of these patriots who have sacrificed so much by keeping their families together while their loved ones serve in distant foreign countries all over the planet.  It is extremely difficult for one person to assume the heavy load of raising children, making important life decisions, getting the bills
paid, making the mortgage, all the while worrying to death about the safety and well-being of their spouse. How about the mother, fathers, and siblings that pray each day that their family member comes home safe and sound.

I know that not every service member is serving in a war zone. I understand that the service these soldiers perform
are as diverse as the individuals this article seeks to recognize, but more often than not, these patriots are not at home with their families.  I have lived in this county my entire life. Every night when I lay my head on my pillow, I know you are out there somewhere watching over my safety. For all those nights of peaceful rest, I simply say, “Thank you!
